Mending broken hearts
It has been a sad few days here on the farm. We lost our beloved big red dog, Huffy. I'm having a hard time focusing on anything that requires a recipe, so some simple candy is in order to think about something else for awhile.

Losing a pet is just so darn hard. They become so much a part of our lives just like family or breathing. I am truly sorry for your loss. I dread the day I lose my Jakie(he's 12)and I know you are heartbroken.

I am so so sorry to hear about your loss...we just went through that before Christmas with our beloved black lab of 12 years. It is a very hard thing to have to deal with. We still miss her dearly. Sending you some hugs and love! Broken hearts are hard to mend and takes time.
