Finished another chair today, by far the most labor intensive project I've tackled so far. Not perfect, but I'm gaining more and more confidence with each try.
The fabric is a neutral green and the stitched fish are a bluish pink. The colors compliment each other much better then the photos show.
I turned the print on its side to make room for sewing on the fish and the delphiniums and flowers gave the nice impression of aquatic plants.
A far cry from the homely darlin' I dragged home from goodwill.
Homely, but good bones.
Taking a seat and relaxing today ;0)

You did a fantastic job. The cording on the cushion as so much to it. Looks amazing.
Beatiful. I love the fabric & white finish. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving your sweet comments on my faux zinc nightstand.

Wow you did an awesome job...really!
While reading this I kept thinking of that odd song "I love to go swimmin' with bowlegged wimmen'". I know...crazy right?
Girl, you are an artist and I envy your talent.

That chair is just wonderful! I think the pink fish absolutely gives it the perfect touch.... Love the fabric, and love the way you managed to give that little old chair a new home, and a fabulous new look!

Okay - I'm not kidding... I'm going to box up a crazy amount of fabric and send it to you so you can stitch cool, fun things on it all - then I can make some purses. LOLOL
