1..2..3... check, check

Yesterdays curtains turned out swell. I need to get out of that bathroom and back to the other items on my 'to do' list. Remember that bathroom vanity was painted to get it out of my future sewing room. Then it needed a chair, then a curtain.,, If I don't stop myself, I'll be in Lowe's price checking tile. lol

I have been making small amounts of progress elsewhere . The sewing room floor is painted. I'm waiting for the funds to put in molding. I used to own a chocolate shop and gift store that was decorated to look like an old candy store. I kept some of the shelves and displays and excited that I got them moved into the new sewing room and awaiting a fresh coat of paint. A sewing room should feel like a candy store, right?

My old sucker stand converted to a thread holder.

candy jars of buttons

I have lots of jars :0) endless possibilities

I don't think I have enough going on, so I'm starting to reupholster these chairs too. lol
The fabric (sitting in the chair on the right) looks like burlap but has a really soft touch to it. An absolute steal for 1.50 a yard at walley world. I hope to get these into shape for less then 10.00!

My Mother-in-law just gifted these to us. They were her mothers. I'm so honored to have them. Love the rose details.

Feel loved, my friends :0)

Your sewing room is going to be amazing. You know, you motivated me to clear out my old sewing room turned junk room, to move my two youngest girls into as their bedroom and I made myself a " sewing nook " in my room. I used to have a cloth diaper sewing business before becoming a farmer/ cheesemaker, and I'm trying to get up the courage to start sewing again. It's been awhile.
